The Jackal is seen driving a white Alfa Romeo Spider
Tale
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes a living by carrying out high-paying hits. He soon meets his match in a tough British intelligence officer who tracks him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.
Graham Norton reference and more: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024)
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an older model. Eddy is explosively good in this show, as he is in everything else he does.
The MI6 agent is massively miscast, uncreative, incompetent and given far too much airtime
That being said, the show is currently shining as one of the best on TV thanks to Eddy’s performance. The whole show could have been more engaging if we only had the Jackal in view, but as it is; Eddy carries an MI6 agent whose name escapes me because he’s so forgettable.
Just with your time and I have the attention span of a goldfish
The story isn’t exactly complicated, but aside from the MI6 agent, the rest of the cast is amazing. They don’t spend a lot of time on drama, they spend the vast majority of their time on the Jackals, which is what makes this show amazing.

It’s not a slow burner, it’s non-stop (sorry MI6 agent). The new season of "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
