Tale
The Jackal is a hardened assassin who makes his living by pulling off the highest-paying hits
He soon meets his match in the form of a tenacious British intelligence officer who follows him on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The novel “The Day of the Jackal” is set in 1963 and involves the attempted assassination of then-French President Charles de Gaulle.
The show moves the setting to the present day
Mentioned in Graham Norton and guest stars: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). Okay, so I like the show, yes, I can pick my faults etc.
but I’ve been watching and enjoying the show so far
One big disappointment is Lashana who plays the lead, she is a decent enough actress but this role just doesn’t suit her, obviously she is a weapons expert but without spoiling the plot you have to fire over 200 shots at someone and let’s just say she was Grassy Knoll, today we would talk about the fate of JFK, there are many people who are better suited for this role but unfortunately the cast made a mistake and have to live with it. I only have 6 episodes left and I’m waiting for the next one to come out, if the series continues like this it will be a success regardless of Lashana..
