Britain granted permission to film in the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely bestowed on any film or screen production, especially an American one
Tale
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler is given a high-profile job for which she is ill-suited and which has tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. The producers convinced the US and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the still-recent US embassy (at Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.

One place missing was Winfield House, the actual residence of the US ambassador. Although it is accurately described as the largest residential plot in London (11 hectares) next to Buckingham Palace, the makers used a country house outside the city for filming.
Truly original – nothing like it has ever been
As hard as it is to believe, this series is also 'fresh'. Something else significant happens halfway through the first episode, and the drama’s creators somehow managed to convince the creators of the Trailers not to include it – or even hint at it.
The writing is neat; plot and dialogue blend together seamlessly
I’m only halfway through the second episode, but I can already tell that this is unlike any of the spy/suspense series or books. It’s also somewhat refreshing because it’s not dominated by the kind of paranoia that annoys Australians and others.
