Plot
A detective and a nun investigate a series of gruesome, seemingly personal crimes, grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers. Ed Lachlan’s Mustang is the same color and license plate as the car from Italian Job 2WQI332.
Ryan Murphy usually starts strong with an intriguing story approach, and then something gets lost in the sauce
Nicey Nash wouldn’t have been my first choice as lead investigator, but somehow it worked for me for a while. It’s understandable that she would drift with the plot with everything she’s involved with, but allowing her to continue working in her state is unrealistic.
There is no need for long scenes of her visiting her husband
“Event” The editing makes me think she’s dreaming, because the dialogue and the scene where she meets Neat make it sound like a dream sequence. When I saw that he was actually real, the story became really exciting for me.
The head nurse finds the scenes very uncomfortable
Episodes 1-2 are good, 3-4 are okay, and 5-6 are awful. The theory they seem to be trying to force on us is that the priest is the serial killer.
I’m not sure why they needed 10 episodes for what is mostly a filler show
Doctor Who Met at the Fire Pit is my pick and I would love to finish the show now. Unfortunately, the crime scenes are the most interesting part of this series and remind me of what our human nature can succumb to: overindulgence and cruelty.
